Christmas Magnets

Here is my inspiration picture for making some
Christmas magnets.

Below are the pictures of the final project! These were made using
clear glass gems, craft magnets, and scrapbook paper.

I tried my hand at painting...

Since discovering Pinterest, I have tried a few things that I have "pinned," but this is one I am most proud of. 

I loved this very unique painting, and was hoping to try it someday.  Then, when Katie suggested having a painting night...I brought this along as my inspiration.

  I ended up painting something for my Mom (as a Christmas gift).  She loves abstract paintings.  My painting doesn't look exactly like the original, but the idea came from this.  In the words of Paula Abdul, I made it my own, and threw in some "hidden mickey's" too...since we are Disney lovers.  I'm hoping that she will hang this on her FAMILY TREE WALL OF PICTURES!
