Since discovering Pinterest, I have tried a few things that I have "pinned," but this is one I am most proud of.
I loved this very unique painting, and was hoping to try it someday. Then, when Katie suggested having a painting night...I brought this along as my inspiration.
I ended up painting something for my Mom (as a Christmas gift). She loves abstract paintings. My painting doesn't look exactly like the original, but the idea came from this. In the words of Paula Abdul, I made it my own, and threw in some "hidden mickey's" too...since we are Disney lovers. I'm hoping that she will hang this on her FAMILY TREE WALL OF PICTURES!
